Hi everyone!
Over the past few weeks we have been practicing social distancing, save a few trips to the grocery store and walks outside. I definitely miss my students! I have had a few weeks of online lessons so far. It has been great keeping in touch with students and their families. We thought this would only last a few weeks but it does appear that this will be our new normal for a few months. I will be continuing to offer online lessons for the foreseeable future!
To my current students -
This is a stressful and strange time and I hope you are able to find some solace in your music. There is no need to feel pressure to get ahead, just focus on finding some enjoyment under the restrictions of the current circumstances!
The National Arts Centre is offering free online livestream concerts! #CanadaPerforms is a relief fund for artists funded by the NAC and Facebook. There are loads of different artists featured across many genres, not just classical! Many are great for the whole family. Check it out - https://nac-cna.ca/en/canadaperforms/events/all
Please note: RCM Examinations are moving online for Theory, and practical exams will be rescheduled. Please refer to https://www.rcmusic.com/about-us/news/covid19-update for up to date details.
I am accepting new students at this time, of all ages. Don't hesitate to reach out if you are looking to add a little music to your new routine.
